Overview
We’re excited to announce AIMSCO’s Summer 2024 Release. This release includes a new addition to our Power Plant suite – Power Slide – providing real time status displays optimized for shop floor visibility. Important new features are available in our Messaging and eChecksheet modules, along with significant quality and ease-of-use improvements to our core product. And behind the scenes we’ve made multiple updates further improving efficiency and stability to backend processes without any visible changes to operations or administrators – except better performance.
Power Slide
Power Slide is a new module within the Power Plant suite, providing real-time display optimized for line-side and public display monitors. Typical uses include dashboards for production and quality status in a rotating display, informing connected workers and plant management on priority areas for quick action.
Messaging Enhancements
Our updated Message Management feature now supports notifications triggered by several new events, including multi-selectable defect types / codes, responsible area, and new eChecksheet version. Multiple selections are also now available at each level in the filter set. This allows alerts and notifications to accurately and selectively target multiple products, stations, plans, or eChecksheets. Finally, SMTP is now supported as a delivery method for notifications in on-premises deployments.
eChecksheet Enhancements
Single User Mode – A new configurable ability to limit use of a given eChecksheet to one user session at a time.
Start Timer from Schedule – A new way to start timers quickly, without navigating into the eChecksheet.
